Foul Weather Friends are the ones who show up when the sky turns.
The fair-weather friend leaves at the first cloud. We are the others — the ones with the umbrella, who row out to meet the storm.
Who we are
A nationwide collective of death doulas, hospice nurses, social workers, lawyers, therapists, and psychedelic-trained guides. Each member is vetted, trained, and committed to the same plain-spoken standard of care.
What we offer
Concierge accompaniment — practical, legal, emotional, spiritual — from the first difficult conversation to the last breath, and the months of grief that follow.
Where we work
Coast to coast. In hospitals, hospices, living rooms, and on porches. Virtually for planning work; in person where geography and licensure allow.
Our orientation
Death-positive, harm-reduction, trauma-informed, and culturally humble. We honor every framework a family brings — religious, secular, ancestral, ceremonial.
