About the Collective

Foul Weather Friends are the ones who show up Things Get Real. Wondering who to call? It's us.

We focus on helping all people, especially nontraditional families and lifestyles, with the liberatory practice of cultivating preparedness for end-of-life issues. Your new Friend is someone with experience, resources, and a focus on your whole care team's wellbeing.

Who we are

Our end-of-life care and planning practice is a collaborative effort: a network of care providers; death doulas, estate planning attorneys, hospice nurses and social workers, educators, entheogenic practitioners, and more.

What we offer

Concierge accompaniment — practical, legal, emotional, spiritual — from the first difficult conversation to the last breath, and the months of grief that follow.

Where we work

Coast to coast. In hospitals, hospices, living rooms, and on porches. Virtually for planning work; in person where geography and licensure allow.

Our orientation

Death-positive, harm-reduction, trauma-informed, and culturally humble. We honor every framework a family brings — religious, secular, ancestral, ceremonial.
